Paying for work.

All prices and policies here are illustrative assumptions for a fictional demo, reviewed October 12, 2026.

The fee comes first

A diagnostic visit is $99 for one system. The fee covers assessment and written findings. Repairs and parts are priced separately before you approve work. More than one system: the office confirms the fee first.

Up to the paid $99 is credited toward an approved repair on the same system within 30 days. The credit never exceeds the repair price, is not a cash refund and does not apply when the fee was waived.

Ask what the proposal includes

Ask for labor, parts, access, permits, taxes, exclusions and payment stages in writing. Replacement assessment and quote-scope desk review are $0 in this demo. The desk review does not include a visit or decide whether a price is fair.

Payment arrangements

Ask about available payment arrangements in the written proposal. This demo offers no lender, loan application, monthly payment or approval. No deposit or installment percentage is specified.

If you rent

Tell the owner or manager about the issue and keep a record. The office would confirm who can authorize work. Use the city's landlord and tenant resources for current guidance.

Help paying for repairs

First check which jurisdiction serves your address. Program areas differ. Maricopa County home repair excludes Phoenix city addresses; county islands may qualify. Check the official program and municipal alternatives for current terms. This page does not assess eligibility or collect an address.

Ask the office a payment question or prepare a request.
